Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering running for president in 2024, potentially challenging President Biden for the Democratic nomination. A scion of a famous political family, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke about the environment, COVID-19 vaccines and the possibility of running for president during an appearance at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Friday.
The familiar name could be returning to the first-in-the-nation primary campaign trail for the first time in four decades. Robert F. Kennedy, son of the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy, has been an environmental attorney and vaccine skeptic for years, and told a capacity crowd that he's seriously considering a run for the Democratic nomination for president in 2024.
During his speech, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. talked about the environment, his vaccine skepticism and the possibility of a presidential run. He called for more investment in renewable energy sources, like solar and wind power, and said that the Biden administration should be doing more to combat climate change. He also expressed his doubts about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines and said that the government should be doing more to make sure they are safe before they are administered to the public.
