In a recent poll from the Saint Anselm College Survey Center, Maggie Goodlander is leading the race for New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional district, but her lead is shrinking as competitor Colin Van Ostern gains ground. The poll shows Goodlander ahead by six points, a significant decrease from her previous double-digit lead.

Kuster is backing Colin Van Ostern over Maggie Goodlander, the wife of National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. This endorsement from Congresswoman Annie Kuster could give Van Ostern a boost in the race, as Kuster is a well-respected figure in New Hampshire politics.

The Dartmouth sat down with Van Ostern to discuss his congressional campaign, past political experience, and connection to the College. Van Ostern emphasized the importance of grassroots support and building a coalition of voters from all backgrounds to create positive change in Washington.

Incumbent Congresswoman Annie Kuster is taking the gloves off in the Democratic primary to succeed her in New Hampshire's Second Congressional District. With Kuster's endorsement of Van Ostern, the race is heating up as both candidates vie for the opportunity to represent the district in Congress.
