The Wall That Heals is a traveling exhibit that has toured the United States for the last 30 years. On March 19, the exhibit made its way to El Cajon, California, where it set up a 3/4 scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. The exhibit, known as 'The Wall that Heals', is an important tribute to the more than 3 million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces during the nearly 20-year-long Vietnam War.

Shovels in hand, a row of local and state leaders looked to Steve Bates, president of the Vietnam Memorial Fund, as they gathered at the exhibit's opening ceremony. The Wall That Heals honors the sacrifice and service of those who fought in Vietnam, ensuring that their memory lives on for generations to come.

In Naperville, Illinois, a Vietnam memorial wall was recently displayed near the Riverwalk, with a special ceremony held to honor the veterans lost during the war. The wall serves as a reminder of the bravery and dedication of those who served their country during a tumultuous time in history.

The three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. also made its way to Hilo, Hawaiʻi, where it was set up in a grassy field along the Hilo Bayfront. The exhibit in Hilo is part of a series of events honoring veterans lost during the Vietnam War, giving the community a chance to pay their respects and reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served.

Throughout its travels, The Wall That Heals has become a symbol of remembrance and gratitude for the men and women who served in Vietnam. The exhibit serves as a powerful reminder of the impact of war on individuals and communities, highlighting the importance of honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

In addition to its role as a tribute to Vietnam veterans, The Wall That Heals also serves as a platform for education and healing. The exhibit provides visitors with an opportunity to learn more about the history and significance of the Vietnam War, fostering a greater understanding of the sacrifices made by those who served.

As the exhibit continues to tour the country, it serves as a reminder of the enduring legacy of the Vietnam War and the importance of honoring those who fought in the conflict. The Wall That Heals stands as a testament to the courage and resilience of the men and women who served their country during a challenging and divisive period in American history.
