The University of Georgia (UGA) has a long-standing reputation for academic excellence, but its athletics programs are also making waves. Recently, UGA athletes have been achieving great success in a variety of sports.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Highlighted by a pair of podium trips and a consolation final victory, the University of Georgia women's swimming and diving team finished third at the SEC Championships. The men's team finished fourth, with several standout performances.

Carter, who was a highly-regarded recruit for the Bulldogs, announced his intention to enter the NFL draft after the 2022 season.

ATHENS, Ga. — The sixth-ranked University of Georgia women's tennis team defeated Alabama 4-1 on Thursday afternoon at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs' win was highlighted by strong performances from several players, including senior Marta Gonzalez and freshman Katarina Jokic.
