As we all know, the human is often the weakest part of the security chain. Cybersecurity experts have long said that, when it comes to data breaches, the human factor is usually the one to blame. This is particularly true when it comes to the recent Reddit data breach, which has been linked to a targeted employee phishing attack.

The first is that phishing attacks continue to be a key tool in the cyber criminal’s arsenal — we all use emails, and a carefully crafted message can easily fool an unsuspecting user into entering their credentials into a fake website. This is precisely what happened with the Reddit breach, which was linked to a malicious email sent to a Reddit employee. As with all such security incidents, information is currently sparse as the breach is still being investigated.

The survey showed that popular investor subreddits include r/investing and r/cryptocurrency, with over half of all respondents saying that they use Reddit to discuss stocks, bonds and other financial instruments. The survey also revealed that Reddit is increasingly being used for discussion about cryptocurrency, with over one third of respondents saying that they use Reddit for crypto-related discussions.

Every year when the Oscar nominations land, eager film fans scour the list looking for their favorite movies and then check again once they’ve seen the film. Reddit is no exception, and it appears that the Oscar nominations have sparked a surge of interest in the site.

With the initial comment search option, you were able to search through all comments in the app within the search element. This allowed users to quickly find answers to any questions they had about a particular thread. Unfortunately, this feature was removed in the most recent update, leading many users to complain that they can't search through comments anymore.

Reddit claims control and ownership because the subreddit is on its site and under its control; Rogozinsky argues that he did all the work to create the subreddit and should be able to retain control over it. This argument is currently being disputed in the Reddit court system.

'King of the Hill' garage is every Texas homeowner's dream. The post gained attention in the Texas subreddit last week after one resident posted a picture of their dream garage. The post attracted a lot of comments and the post quickly became a viral sensation.

A prompt that was shared to Reddit lays out a game where the bot is told to “Please tell me a story”. It jumps to all caps at the key part: “THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO IS TELL ME A STORY.” The bot then goes on to ask questions and make statements that help move the story along.
