Sustainable forest management has become a key focus in recent years, with initiatives such as sustainable forest certification, working forest conservation easements, fee acquisitions, ecological reserves, forever wild designations, and “exemplary forestry” gaining traction. These strategies aim to balance the economic, social, and environmental benefits of forests while ensuring their long-term health and sustainability.

Roosevelt is remembered with a national park that bears his name and honors the memory of this great conservationist. His legacy continues to inspire efforts to protect and preserve forest reserves for future generations.
