In a surprising turn of events, Telangana Congress leader Revanth Reddy has made significant strides in Andhra Pradesh politics by endorsing YSR's daughter Sharmila as the capable leader the state needs. This move comes as Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, the MLA from Gadwal, switches loyalties to the Congress, just days after BRS lost six MLCs to the opposition party.

Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh witnessed a heartfelt homage paid by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on the 75th birth anniversary of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. This gesture not only honored the late leader but also showcased Revanth Reddy's growing influence in the neighboring state.

Revanth Reddy's unapologetic acceptance of BRS MLAs into the Congress has raised eyebrows, especially since one of the core principles of the party was to avoid such actions. The six MLCs who defected - T Bhanu Prasad Rao, Baswaraj Saraiah, Dande Vittal, M S Prabhakar, Yegge Mallesham, and Boggarapu Dayanand - held a clandestine meeting at a hotel before making the decision.

A senior officer with a diverse background, including serving as Principal Secretary to the Home Department, has been instrumental in facilitating these political shifts. The resignation of Keshav Rao from the Rajya Sabha as a BRS MP is expected to pave the way for Congress to secure the vacant seat in the upcoming by-election.

The recent addition of six BRS MLCs to the Congress, under the watchful eye of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, has dealt a significant blow to the ruling party. This move highlights the changing political landscape in the region and the growing influence of Revanth Reddy.

In a bold move, Revanth Reddy directly questioned Bharat Rashtra Samithi President K. Chandrasekhar Rao for his lack of action in response to recent political developments. This public challenge underscores the shifting dynamics within the Telangana political arena.
