Throughout the past two weeks, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy have been at odds over the images of the Capitol attack provided by McCarthy to the public. Schumer has accused McCarthy of "manipulating" the images to make it appear as if Democrats were to blame for the attack.

At the weekly Democratic party lunch meeting this week, Schumer and other Democratic leaders spoke to reporters about their views on the matter. Schumer has been adamant in his belief that McCarthy has been manipulating the images in order to make it appear as if Democrats were responsible for the attack and has called on McCarthy to retract the images he has provided.

In addition to the image manipulation, Schumer has also been outspoken on the Democrats' ESG (environmental, social and governance) agenda, expressing his belief that the agenda should be pushed onto the American public and their retirement. This has been a point of contention for many Republicans, including George Will, who has written a scorching column against the Democrat's demagoguery on stock buybacks.

Schumer has also been vocal in his support for Arun Subramanian, a history maker and the "epitome of the American Dream". Schumer visited Israel recently and pledged the U.S. Senate's "fullest support" as the Netanyahu government faces backlash.

Despite all of this, Schumer has come under fire recently for his demand that his critics be taken off the airwaves. Schumer believes that his critics are spreading lies and misinformation and should not be allowed to do so without retribution. This, however, has been met with criticism from both sides of the aisle.

On Sunday, more than 200 protesters gathered in front of Schumer's Brooklyn home to call on the U.S. to defund the police. The protesters were met with a heavy police presence and eventually dispersed.

In a statement to Reuters, Schumer accused McCarthy of making "false statements" about the Capitol attack and called on him to retract the images he has provided. Schumer believes that the images are being used to perpetuate false narratives about Democrats and the Capitol attack.
